My opinion, The Contract by Gerald Seymour is below average thriller novel. I was told Gerald Seymour’s novels are better but I think those are other novels he had written or this is his writing style.

Opening was is bit boring and end was something unexpected. But a tragic. Not something most readers would enjoy or expect. If you are looking for a action packed war novel then  The Contract by Gerald Seymour is NOT what are you looking for. It has several tragic, if not bitter side stories about main characters.

The CONTRACT by Gerald Seymour should be an object lesson to men on the perils of loving the wrong woman, although I’m sure author Gerald Seymour didn’t intend it as such.

That’s what I read in Amazon reviews about the book. But I don’t think this is what average thriller fan would look for. unless reader likes tragic all over the place.
