CAPTIVE MOON By Cathy Clamp & C T Adams

Captive Moon by Cathy Clamp & C. T. Adams is the third book of the Sazi Tales. And surprise this story is not of Tony Giodonne, our hero from the previous two books. In Captive Moon we learn of different groups of Sazi and how they are interacting with each other C. T. Adams and Cathy Clamp has given us yet another fascinating story of the Sazi.

Antoine Monier, the shape-shifting half-lion, half-cougar leader is not only a World-class entertainer but also Sazi council-member. He finds out that there’s a shape shifter captive along with other tigers and goes to rescue them to find a woman, a woman from a legendary family thought extinct. California-born Tahira who is a were-tiger had been in Turkey with her brother Rabi, visiting their grandparents, when Rabi disappeared. While searching for him, Tahira was captured. Also they discover that she is very special… a mythical “power well” who can store up the energies of others. Together they find out who wants Tahira for her powers and also they fight another Were spider.

Well like the previous other two books Captive Moon too is very captivating in its read. The adventure faced by Antoine and Tahira, the race against time, and the phases of the moon, to get to the bottom of what is really going on keeps you enthralled. The character I most liked is the arrogant were-snake Ahmad who is also a council member. What I liked most about him is that in spite of his hauty manners n arrogance he fights along side Antoine and Tahira and shows that he is one who can be trusted in times of need. I hope that Cathy Clamp & CT Adams write a separate book about Ahmad the were snake. All in all Captive Moon is as enjoyable as the previous two books Hunter’s Moon and Moon’s Web.

Moon’s Web By C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp

Moon’s Web is the second book in Tales of the Sazi series which is written by C. T. Adams and Cathy Clamp. This book starts right off from where it left off in the first book Hunter’s Moon.

Tony, a Sazi wolf shape-shifter, formerly a Mob hit man, and the very human Sue are newlyweds, facing challenges posed by their psychic link to each other and the politics of life for Tony as a new pack member. As if that was not enough Tony’s sire who is also the girlfriend of Carmine, the Mafia don who used to be Tony’s boss is kidnapped by something that is way too dangerous, it also abducts the pregnant Komodo dragon shape-shifter who is of special interest to Bobby, the sometimes snake operative for the enforcement organization of the Sazi.
Now it’s up to Tony and his sazi friends to save Carmine’s girlfriend–and all of the women taken by this horrifying creature. To add to his problems, Tony is getting flashes of other peoples’ live memories. –but he is learning things he shouldn’t about his friends and neighbors.

Like the first book of  Tales of the Sazi series this too is paranormal adventure Romance with fast-paced action. Tony and Sue proves that romance can sometimes mean staying in love despite adversity. Tony also develops new powers, which have their  side-effects to the mate bond and the pack bond. His disregard for rules leading to careless mistakes. Likewise Sue too develops in character, she is not a weeping female anymore but an equal mate to her husband.  The authors have beautifully finished this book  in the process creating other characters  for the next book making sure that the readers are eagerly waiting for the next book.
